Gotta love good Mexican Food and this is it.
Artbyjo best of Mexico and American
Good food out in the middle of nowhere
Great food and place. They charge like $1 for using the bathroom if you're not dining in, which I found pretty funny.
OK to many people couldn't hear my guests
Ok maybe not 5 stars, but for a little place in Why AZ, this is a great spot to stop and get your Mexican Food grub on before whatever adventure brought you to Why.
Service is always GREAT as well as the foo.
Best dining option for 50 miles around. Great place to stop either to or from Mexico.
I absolutely love Granny's!! Breakfast or lunch and anything you order is fantastic. Service is always fabulous!
Food somewhat bland, customer service very average, clean, crowded but food arrived quickly and hot. I would stop by again but likely look for another place before.
Good place for food in the desert !
My wife and I split one order of fajitas and it filled us both up. Absolutely delicious..
Great food great service
Nice friendly staff, good food. Had an excellent breakfast.
I've never been disappointed here. Amazing food, friendly staff. Kinda pricey, but given the location, it's worth it
Enjoyed, just a little resistant out in e deaset only one around
Great burgers.
The red chili burro enchilada style was fantastic. Really liked the cheese crisp and salsa as well. Great stop on the way to or from Rocky Point.
The only game in town. Hold out if you can. Slow service, not authentic nor delicious.
Good but not the best I've ever had. Probably the best in that area though, of course as the selection is limited. Seating was slow but they tried hard. Food delivery was much faster. Taco salad, combo, and tamales were all tried. Nothing homemade about any of it. More lettuce than filling for taco and tostada, enchilada was meh. Sauces were all mediocre as well. Missing the flavors of anything but the base.
Ordered Sonorense and Cheese Crisp. Took almost 1 hr to get food which required me to ask what happened to our order and all we had ordered were 2 appetizers. Food came out barely warm. Almost $6 for an ice tea and a soda (not counting $12 for the 2 apps); waitress never came back to give refills or check on us.Between very slow and non-existent service, cold food and expense, not worth it.Having worked in food service for many years, if this restaurant wants to turn a profit and stay in business, they need to clear tables more quickly, check on their patrons once food is served, offer drink refills, make sure food doesn't take an hour to be served and make sure it's hot plus bring the check to the table so one doesn't have to stand at the counter asking for it.Also, party of 6 came in 45 min after us and left because waitress told them it would be at least 45 min before she could get to them so they ended up leaving.Hopefully you'll have better luck! ;)
Had breakfast, gravy and biscuits didn't realize that they only had links.
Had a new masa dish today and it was upstanding!
Excellent breakfast burrito and service is great. Cindy was an awesome server!
Perfectly prepared breakfast, great service
Homemade food family place...
Love this place! Excellent food, friendly people. Their hours are a little unusual, so be sure to check what times they are open before heading there.
Customer service is horrendous. Workers NEVER smile. They just throw your food on the table. Good food, otherwise 1 star.
Good breakfast- huevos rancheros, not so good breakfast burrito. Seem to attract small get-togethers. Poor coffee. Friendly service.
My husband and I had breakfast here this morning. It was absolutely delicious. And the food was so fresh. My husband said the coffee was OK but we make better at home. Otherwise, for the price it was just great.
Excellent waitress but high on coffee & sometimes the food isn't good.
Great home cooking!
Excellent lunch at reasonable price. Great service and large menu selection. Very clean throughout. Highly recommend.
Secret Mexican restaurant that is worth stopping. I would give 5 stars if they opened in the afternoon. Can't ever get there to eat. Worth it if your in the area
Great waitresses, quick service with a smile
I went here for breakfast. The food was ok. The waitress was too busy ignoring me to keep my coffee cup full. I have heard from others their Mexican food is good, however, because of the service I doubt if I go back.
Best breakfast in Arizona, didn't know what to expect from the non assuming appearance but this place is great. Great food, great service
Good food & service has wheel chair access also
Good, generous and fair priced. Oasis in the desert. Clean, but not fancy.
Delicious! Perfect stop on the way home from Mexico!
Food is always very good, clean place to eat. Highly recommended!
I had 2 tacos. They were actually dripping with grease I could only make it through one.The guacamole was delicious and my husband had a burrito. We didnt have the meals and had water to drink. The bill came to $35. Not too happy with that.
I've had the huevos rancheros every visit. Its very good.
Fast service even with a large lunch crowd. Hamburger was excellent. Chips and salsa included while you wait for your order.
Excellent food and service
Stopped with the family after coming back from Rocky Point Mexico. The food and the service were both very good.
The food here was okay. The service was okay. The place is very busy and has only one waitress. We had to sit at a table with strangers. They were out of the chili rellenos so I had tamales and found olives with hard pits in them which could have been awful if I hadn't notice the first one and sorted through the tamales to find the others before I bit down. A couple came in with a dog and if I had not had said no it would have been seated right with us at our table. It may have been a service dog, but if so, it was not evident. I wouldn't recommend this place or driving out of your way to eat here, but there just aren't many choices in the area.
Granny's Kitchen is the only show in town in Why, so if you're looking for a place to eat there, this is it. We used to go quite frequently (we live in Ajo), but found that the seasoning was changing, making the food 'hotter' than we like. Recently, after not visiting for a long time, we tried Granny's again. The food was passable, but we found that some of the beans seemed to have been cooked with bacon grease, which gave an expected (and unwanted) flavor to our Mexican food. We don't expect to going back any time soon.Granny's hours are very limited. They're not open in the evenings at all, closing early in the day. At the time of this writing, they are closed on Saturdays.
Delicious great food nice and friendly ppl ❤
Great biscuits and sausage gravy! Friendly staff, and the BEST place to eat in Why, AZ!
